Activate & Earn: How It Works, FAQs, and Terms
Tria

New to Tria? Your first few card payments come with a little extra.

Activate your card and make four eligible payments of $5 or more to earn 3,200 points + $5 USDT. Rewards are added automatically as you complete each step, with nothing extra to claim or submit.

Here's how it works, what counts, and what doesn't.

The three milestones

MilestoneYour windowReward
1Activate your cardWithin 3 days of the campaign appearing in your app200 points
2Make your first payment ($5 or more)Within 4 days of activating3,000 points
3Make 3 more payments ($5 or more each)Within 7 days of your first payment$5

Total: 3,200 points and $5.

Each milestone unlocks the next, and every qualifying payment must be $5 or more.

How to complete it

1. Activate your card: 200 points. Takes about a minute. As soon as your card is live, the points land.

2. Make your first payment: 3,000 points. Anything over $5, anywhere Visa is accepted. This is the big one.

3. Make 3 more payments: $5. Coffee, groceries, a subscription, whatever you'd buy anyway. Once the transactions settle, we send you $5 in USDT, straight to your connected wallet.

That's it. Rewards arrive automatically as you hit each step.

Why the points matter

Points move you through Season 3 and unlock mystery boxes along the way. Starting your first week with 3,200 of them is a real head start.

What doesn't count

One simple rule covers almost all of it:

If a transaction moves money rather than buys something, it won't count.

Card networks, not Tria, label every transaction with a merchant category code (MCC). Anything the networks classify as money movement, cash, stored value, or gambling is excluded from campaign milestones, no matter the amount.

Frequently asked questions

When does the clock start?

When the campaign appears in your Tria app. From there: 3 days to activate your card, 4 days from activation to make your first payment, and 7 days from that first payment to make the remaining three.

Does every payment have to be over $5?

Yes. All four qualifying payments, your first and the three that follow, need to be $5 or more. Payments under $5 don't count towards any milestone.

Do the 3 remaining payments need to be on separate days?

No. Make them whenever you like inside the 7-day window.

When do I get my rewards?

Automatically. Points appear once each milestone is met. The $5 is credited after your third qualifying payment, once the transaction settles.

I made a payment and it didn't count. Why?

Some transactions are categorised by the card networks as money movement rather than purchases. Cash withdrawals, transfers, wallet top-ups, gambling, and resellable digital credit are the main ones. See the full list above.

What if I miss a window?

The campaign ends there. Each milestone unlocks the next, so if a window closes before you complete it, you can't earn the rewards that follow. Anything you've already earned stays yours.

Can I take part more than once?

No. This is a one-time campaign for new users.

Does a refunded payment still count?

No. Refunded or reversed transactions are removed from your milestone count.

  12. Tria may amend, suspend or end this campaign at any time. Changes apply to future participation.
  13. Excluded merchant categories. Transactions assigned any of the merchant category codes listed in the "What doesn't count" section above do not count towards any campaign milestone, regardless of amount.
  14. Merchant category codes are assigned by the merchant's payment provider and the card networks, not by Tria. Tria may update this list at any time; changes apply to future transactions.
  15. Tria's decision on whether a transaction qualifies is final.
